| Our History California Cove Designs was founded in 2002 as a result of a steady stream of requests for "more of the best soap I have ever used," a common cry from the lucky recipients of our first soaps received as gifts from Susan, founder of California Cove Designs. Susan continues today to make each soap herself by hand, to ensure quality and consistency. Back then, when Susan started making soaps, those who received them vowed never to go back to their old soaps which left them feeling filmy and not fresh. After years of hearing rave reviews from relatives and friends, we decided to extend the wonderful pleasures of these beautiful soaps to everyone. Here at California Cove Designs, we use our gourmet soaps every day. The aromatherapy benefits we receive from them are fantastic, and we have grown to depend on them and expect them. We travel with our soaps, too, because once you've experienced the clean fresh feeling derived from the pure vegetable glycerin and 100% pure essential oils that we use in crafting our soaps, it is nearly impossible to go back to regular hotel or grocery store soap, which usually contains animal fats and tallows and a host of toxic ingredients.
